A few moments ago, a shocking image began to go viral on social media, showing a NASA rover on the surface of Mars in a badly damaged state. According to this fictional story, the rover was sending scientific data and images to Earth as usual when suddenly Mission Control detected an unusual malfunction in its power system. A few seconds later, its signal disappeared completely.
The last image received from the rover surprised everyone. Both of its solar panels were completely broken, metal fragments were scattered around, while red Martian dust was slowly engulfing the damaged rover. No new images or signals were received after that.
